10 out of 10!
Dave has a transplant date – 23rd April. They have a young healthy donor who is a 10 out of 10 match! Consider all those different factors I wrote about in the last post, 100s of different options for each of the factors, and they all match!
This improves the chances of a successful transplant. It promotes engraftment: engraftment is when the donated cells start to grow and make new blood cells. It reduces the risk of a post-transplant complication called graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). GVHD occurs when the immune cells from the donated marrow or cord blood (the graft) attack your body (the host). This is the best news. Rejoice with us.

WOW! Rejoicing!
Ah Lord God!
Behold, YOU have made the heavens and the earth
by YOUR great power
and by YOUR outstretched arm.
NOTHING is too difficult for YOU.

As many with many others Noelle and been praying consistently for this very thing. We are filled to overflowing with joy and relief. Why is there a touch of surprise when God answers “yes” to a prayer?

Hi James,
We really appreciate your prayers. It makes a big difference to me to know that people young and old are praying for me.
I wonder how old the youngest person is? I wonder how young the oldest person is?
Mr. Burge.

It would probably be Ruth wouldn’t it? Otherwise Kezia might be next up because if we are slightly remiss and forget to pray for you when we are saying grace at each meal, either Kezia or Mikah always reminds us – ‘pway for Unca Dave to get betta’

WOW!! What an amazing 77th birthday gift to me, on this miraculous news from your family. I knew that 77 was going to be an awesome year as 7 is the perfect number. 10 out of 10. TOP SCORE so that must be a GOLD. I rejoice with each one of you as you celebrate God’s abundant goodness. I will keep on praying as you await “D Day” Thanks Tarnya for keeping us all in the loop.

Hi David & Tarnya, great to hear how God is working in your lives! Excellent to know you have such a good match for the BM transplant. We’ll be continuing to pray for you all – have the prayer team at the Whakatane Sallys on the job! (So thankful for the Lord’s keeping power at times like this! 2 Tim 1:12, 1Pet1:5a.) Will be especially remembering you in the coming weeks twd April 23rd. Our God is such an awesome God who “does superabundantly above all that we can ask or think” !!! Eph 3:20 (vs 14-21 are our prayer for you)
