Pancakes

with 6 comments

Dave is well today.

It is Noah’s 13th birthday. I am about to make lots of buckwheat pancakes for breakfast in honour of the occasion. Noah doesn’t actually like them that much but the other 5 hollow-legged boys do.

Pray for us, we now have 3 teenagers in the house ;-). But really, do not worry, the toddlers keep them from being too self-centred. It works well doesn’t it: they have to help a little with their younger siblings and it gives them plenty of material to win competitions with their friends regarding who is the most hard done by.

Joe, 8 years (9 in 3 months- so he tells me), has reminded me that I have been much longer than the 5 minutes I promised almost 15 minutes ago so I must go.

  1. Hi David and Tarnya,

    Still praying

    Song for the day
“In queitness and confidence shall be my strength each day,
the Lord will go ahead of me
    Shine light upon my way
So I’ll journey with ASSURANCE not fear the darkest night
In queitness and confidence shall be my strength each day.”

Standing in the gap and holding on tightly to the grace that only He can supply.

    • Buckwheat Pancakes ( Gluten free)
Soak overnight 3c of flour with 3c milk. In the morning add 3 eggs and 3 teaspoons of GF baking powder.
Sometimes I add extra milk and they are like crepes, less milk and they are like pikelets.
      Enjoy!
Buckwheat is a distinctive/strong tasting flour that not everyone likes.
