Tiritiri Matangi Island
A big thank you to Uncle Mick and Aunty Raewyn for a wonderful day out for Sam, Noah, Jonny, Joe and Thomas with Grandma, Grandpa and Gran, who were taken to Tiritiri Matangi Island. Thomas got out all our NZ bird books this morning: he plans to draw and write about birds this week and has already requested that I get some more books about birds from the library :-).

Tiritiri Matangi is quite my favourite island. I only just got to the top last time but must try again as I want to see a Rifleman. So called because the malitia used to where green jackets. Loved your boat Thomas, I think you would get a grand view from the top deck, but you would have to hold on to your hat!!
