Sleep

with 10 comments

Dave is now sleeping well at night. His nose is healing well. He has been encouraged by many cards and email greetings, thank you. He is feeling very tired but is mostly comfortable. His pain is controlled well by a morphine pump.

  3. Hi Dave and Tarnya
What a blessing to read thru Dave’s sermon on suffering this morning. The verses and comments spoke straight to my heart. This is part of the legacy that you are both creating- that will outlive your physical bodies. I am so blessed to see how you are trusting the Lord and how living well and dying well is changing lives around you… You may not know all of the lives that you have touched in this lifetime- but the ripples are being felt around the world. You are both amazing people and we feel priveledged to walk beside you in love and prayer.

  4. That’s great – so pleased to hear that. I caught up with Garry at the history fair thingy and he told me Dave had rung him. So pleased to know Dave is able to sleep better now – such an answer to everyones prayers.
Sending lotsa love and blessings your way

  5. That is great news that Dave is now home where he probably feels most comfortable. Great too about the sleep as sleep restores both body and soul.
Great to hear that the counts were down and not continuing to climb. I am sure it is from the power of prayers from many here in NZ and overseas!
Continuing to pray for Gods peace over you all at this time.
    Bless you all heaps.

  8. Hi Tarnya and Dave,
We are down in Levin this week visiting with family. Was listening to this tune on the way down, and thought of you, Dave. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81vWrOAE1vA . I don’t know if you are a fan of Aaron Neville, but I got here and read the posting Sleep, and thought I’d send it through. I’m hoping tonight is a Good night too.

  9. Much love to you all and my prayers for your well being everytime you cross my mind Dave. I am also praying for the faith of each of the children both now and in their lives ahead. How we desire a steadfast walk with our Lord for each of our children don’t we! I missed you at school this week Rachel, but am so glad you are at home with the family. The best place to be! Bless you my dear. Our Lord is a strong tower which we run to in times of trouble.I rejoice as I read of His answers to your prayers.May you know His peace and presence.Thank you for sharing your journey Tarnya and keeping us updated. It is good to be able to pray intelligently. With love Shelley.

  10. Well, guys. As your physical light dims, Dave, your spark has been busy transferring, through an ever-increasing circle of inspiration, into so many lives that you and Tarnya touch, both directly and indirectly.

I want you both to know that your journey, your faith, your hope, your trust, your knowledge, your everything .. and the spectacular way in which it has all been disseminated … it all thrives in others.

Dave, I wish you peace in the knowledge that the family and souls that you leave, both known and unknown, are truly blessed and inspired by your having been here.

    God keep you and yours.
